Witness appeal after stolen bike found in Mold

North Wales Police have recovered a stolen mountain bike in Mold and are asking for witnesses to come forward.

The bike, described as a mountain-style model with an orange and yellow frame, was reported stolen from the Buckley area just after lunchtime Wednesday.

Officers located it in Mold later the same afternoon.

A social media post from police said that multiple people on a local Facebook group had reported seeing the bike and the two young males believed to have taken it.

Officers are now asking anyone who witnessed the incident or may have relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.

Anyone with information can contact North Wales Police via webchat or by calling 101, quoting event number C027119. Alternatively, witnesses can email the investigating officer directly at [email protected].

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen this bike or the individuals with it.”
