Bryn Road in Connah’s Quay is set to close for around four weeks from next Monday 27th March.

Dwr Cymru Welsh Water will be closing the road to replace the water mains, continuing on from the recent works on Englefield Avenue.

A shuttle bus will be provided to ensure minimum disruption to transportation services in the area.

During the period of the closure the number 10 bus will stay on the B5129 and up to Morrisons.

A shuttle bus will operate from Morrisons via Golftyn lane, York Road, Kings Road to the B5129.

The shuttle bus will also go up Chapel Street, Pinewood Avenue, Celyn Avenue, then right back into Linden avenue, left down Pinewood Avenue to the B5129 and back up to Morrisons.

The shuttle bus will operate to meet the times of the number 10 service at Morrisons from 7am to 7pm.

Notices are being placed on all the affected bus stops.
