Total Developments (NW) has announced the completion of Prospect Park – which was supported by the Welsh Government – and is the latest scheme to be launched in Deeside Enterprise Zone, Flintshire, North Wales.

Situated on Zone 2 on Deeside Industrial Park the development comprises three new industrial / warehouse units ranging from 5,584 – 21,386 sq ft. Each unit offers fully fitted offices, sectional loading doors and dedicated service yards and are now available for immediate occupation.

Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Infrastructure Ken Skates has welcomed the launch of the new units that were supported by a Welsh Government Property Development Grant.

He said: “The Deeside Enterprise Zone Advisory Board’s strategic plans highlighted the need for high quality advance units to assist the development of the Zone and I am delighted they have now been completed and are already creating interest.

“The availability of ready-to-occupy industrial units can help attract new business, investment and jobs to the area while also providing the opportunity for existing companies in the area to expand and grow their businesses locally.”

Ed Chantler, development director at Total Developments said: “This scheme will add further momentum to what is already one of the main industrial locations in the North West and North Wales area, home to organisations including Toyota, Convatec and Morrisons.

“I would like to thank Welsh Government for its support in the development of Prospect Park. The scheme will address the shortage of high quality manufacturing distribution floorspace in the sub-region, where demand currently outweighs supply by some margin.”

Stephen Wade, director at Legat Owen, sole agents for the scheme, said: “We are delighted to be appointed as sole agent for the development and look forward to announcing our first deals shortly.

“We have had interest from local companies as well as from organisations from outside of the region that want to become part of this industrial hub. The units will appeal to a range of manufacturing and distribution occupiers. The completed units will be either for sale of to let.”
