Police search for driver of a silver Vectra after pedestrian seriously hurt in Queensferry hit and run

North Wales Police have called for witnesses to come forward following a hit and run in Queensferry on Saturday night which left a pedestrian seriously injured.

The incident happened near the Spar on Station Road just before 9pm when the driver of silver Vauxhall Vectra collided with a male pedestrian.

The driver failed to stop and fled the scene.

The road was closed for several hours while police investigated the incident. 

A spokesperson for the forces roads policing unit said:

“We are appealing for information following a Road Traffic Collision on Station Road in Queensferry whereby a male was seriously injured around 21:00hrs on the 8th of February 2020.

The collision involved a Silver Vauxhall Vectra. 

Our enquiries are on-going and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the Vectra prior to the collision to come forward.

Anybody living in the area that may have private CCTV is asked to make contact with us.”
