Search for missing 5 year old girl from North Wales ends as father gives himself up to police

A search for a missing five year old girl has ended after her father ‘surrendered to authorities’ after they both returned from Ireland last night.
An appeal for Molly and her father Brian Owens, from the Holyhead area, was issued during the early hours of Saturday morning.
He was due to appear before Caernarfon Magistrates Court Friday, July 28th but he failed to appear before the court.
Further details released by North Wales Police over the weekend stated that they believed Molly and her father were in the Republic of Ireland.
In an update posted in the early hours of this morning, Supt Nigel Harrison, Western Area Commander, said: “I am pleased to say that Molly returned to Holyhead from Ireland with her father this evening.
“I would like to thank the public and Molly’s family for their support.
“Brian Owens surrendered to authorities on his return and will appear in court tomorrow.”
