Pet rabbits stolen in late-night burglary at Drury farm shop

News and Info from Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales

A Flintshire farm shop has launched a public appeal after three pet rabbits were stolen during an overnight burglary.

Lesters Farm Shop, located in Drury, reported that three individuals broke into their pet enclosure at 12.20am on Sunday, 2 March, carrying empty JD Sports and Foot Asylum bags.

The suspects took three rabbits, which were a popular attraction for visiting children.

In a social media appeal, the farm shop’s owner, Susan, urged anyone with information to come forward.

“These three burgled our property at 12:20am Sunday morning, entering our pet enclosure carrying empty JD/Foot Asylum bags and taking all three of our much-loved, innocent, harmless rabbits.”

“Rabbits that children love to visit. I hasten to think why they would steal them and for what purpose?”

The farm shop has asked the public to share any details that could help identify the suspects and locate the stolen rabbits.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Lesters Farm Shop directly or report it to North Wales Police.

Information can be passed to North Wales Police via 101 or the web live chat http://www.north-wales.police.uk/contact/chat-support.aspx
