North Wales Police are appealing for information to trace David Daniel Hayes, 37, who is wanted in connection with alleged child sex offences in Anglesey.

It is believed Hayes left the area after he first appeared in court in November 2015.

He was bailed but failed to return to court and warrants were issued for his arrest last December.

All forces throughout the United Kingdom have been notified of the outstanding warrant on Hayes, but despite extensive enquiries he has not been located.

His current whereabouts are presently unknown but it is believed he may have travelled abroad.

Extensive efforts to trace him continue, but the assistance of the public is requested.

Detective Chief Inspector Andrew Williams said;

“I am appealing to anyone who knows the whereabouts of David Daniel Hayes, or who may have any information which could assist the police in locating him, to contact North Wales Police”.

“I would also appeal to Mr Hayes directly to come forward. The matter will not go away and it is in his interests to present himself to the authorities”.

Hayes has previously lived in Gwynedd, Anglesey and Llanrwst.

Anyone with information should call North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference
