Nine arrests in joint North Wales & Cheshire Police operation targeting burglars in Flintshire

North Wales police have been involved in a large-scale operation today targeting criminals who are believed to be involved in the theft of high-value Asian gold from homes in north Wales and Cheshire.

Nine people have so far been detained in a joint operation with Cheshire police, 18 premises in Flintshire, Wrexham and Cheshire have been searched in relation to the operation.

Chief Supt Jeremy Vaughan from North Wales Police said;

“North Wales Police in a joint operation with Cheshire Constabulary have today conducted a number of warrants throughout Flintshire ,Wrexham and Cheshire.

The operation is  in connection to domestic burglaries where high-value Asian gold has been stolen, although other communities have also been victims.

This has been a large scale operation which demonstrates how seriously these offence are taken.”
