Trapped man sparks large emergency service response on Deeside Industrial Park

A medical emergency on Deeside Industrial Park sparked a large emergency response yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to a commercial premises believed to be on zone 4 of the industrial park following reports a man had become trapped.
The Wales Air Ambulance was seen landing in the area while several ambulances and North Wales Fire and Rescue service were seen at the premises at around 1.30pm on Wednesday afternoon.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman said:
“We were called at about 1.30pm on Wednesday 31 August to reports of a medical emergency at a commercial premises on Deeside Industrial Park.
“The Wales Air Ambulance, three emergency ambulances and a rapid response vehicle attended the scene along with members of North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and a man was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.”
The mans injuries are unknown.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman told Deeside.com:
“We sent one appliance at 13.33hrs to reports of a person trapped whom we helped release and casualty was taken to hospital, we assisted ambulance staff and left the scene 15.33hrs.”
