Main road in Connah’s Quay close following road traffic incident

The main road through Connah’s Quay has been closed in both directions following a road traffic incident involving an overturned vehicle.

Emergency services are currently at the scene on the B5129 High Street, near its junction with Dee Road.

Police have closed the road between Mold Road and Wepre Drive, police are diverting traffic via Mold Road to ease congestion.

Officers remain at the site while the situation is dealt with.

Inrix traffic monitoring service for the area has issued the following update: “Road closed due to police incident on B5129 High Street both ways at Fron Road. Traffic is coping well.”
