Jeremy Corbyn gets the nod from Alyn and Deeside Labour Party

Alyn and Deeside Constituency Labour Party has backed Jeremy Corbyn and voted for him as their nomination for Labour Party leader ahead of Owen Smith.

Corbyn gained 27 votes from Alyn and Deeside CLP members on Friday evening versus 20 for Smith – winning with 57% of the vote.

Alyn and Deeside CLP voted for Jeremy Corbyn in 2015

Wrexham CLP also cast their votes tonight and backing Owen Smith with 44 votes versus 15 for Jeremy Corbyn.
