Elderly woman taken to hospital following a four car collision on Northop Road

An elderly woman was taken to hospital earlier today after a four car collision on A5119 Northop Road between Flint and Flint Mountain.

The road was partially blocked which affected traffic heading between Flint and the A55 at the time.

A Wales Ambulance Spokesperson said;

We were called at about 11.30am to reports of a four-vehicle road traffic collision on Northop Road, Flint Mountain.

We sent a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and an elderly woman has been taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd with minor injuries.

The road was clear by 1pm.
