The mural is now on permanent display in the youth centre.

The aim of the workshops was to promote an anti vandalism message and to enable young people to use their energy in a creative and positive way.

North Wales Police, and partners encourage people to BE A NICE GUY, as part of Operation BANG at this time of year.

The mural will be a permanent reminder about the consequences of ASB, and provided the opportunity to discuss the subject with all young people who attend the project and sessions in the youth club, both at the present time and in the future.

The workshops were held due to funding from North Wales Police PACT (Police and Community Trust), in an effort to educate youngsters on the dangers and consequences of ASB on Halloween and Bonfire Night.

Prior to the event, on Friday night 25th October the young people also  took part in an activity to highlight the consequences of deliberate fire setting.  This included a competition to design posters to warn about the dangers and consequences of this type of anti social behaviour, and a discussion/question and answer session.
