Go4Set event for Year 9 Girls from Hawarden High School with AIRBUS

Two groups of Year 9 girls have been engaged in a 12 week STEM Project, Go4Set, in conjunction with Airbus and the Engineering Development Trust (EDT).

These industrial cadets who have worked with mentors from Airbus have responded superbly to the challenge and showed themselves to be superb ambassadors for the school. 

A Celebration and Assessment Day took place at Airbus on 6th March where both teams presented their project to judges and set up exhibition stalls.

Team Kinetech (Jess Jones – team leader, Mae Lewis, Olivia Williams, Ffion Scragg, Isabella Reidford and Maia Endemano) won the Award for Best Team Effort and The Eco-neers won the top Award for the Best Overall Project (Mackenzie Morris – team leader, Yan Lam, Abby Williams, Molly Povey, Macey Taylor and Bronwen Draper).
