Military personnel and veterans can travel for free on Transport for Wales (TfW) rail services this Sunday, 10 November, to attend Remembrance Day events.

This offer, part of an industry-wide initiative, provides complimentary travel to all serving military members and veterans, allowing them to mark the occasion with ease.

Free travel is available to current Armed Forces personnel in uniform, or by showing one of the following forms of identification:

  • A current MOD90 Ministry of Defence-issued identity card
  • Veterans Railcard, Veterans Oyster card, Ministry of Defence-issued Veterans ID, or other proof of veteran status (e.g., proof of pension)

TfW was recognised for its support of the Armed Forces community in 2023 with a Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award by the UK Government. For further details, visit the Transport for Wales website.
