Flintshire deaf children’s society family funday this Sunday.

Flintshire deaf children’s society are holding a family funday on Sunday 5th June to celebrate their 5th year in operation.

The annual event takes place at Connah’s Quay docks – opposite the Old Quay pub.

This year Buzz Lightyear and Woody will be attending , Elsa from frozen and a Storm Trooper will also be making an appearance.

The event is free to attend and will include bouncy castles , stalls ,craft activities for the kids as well as live performances from Wrexham singing hands.

Philip Hett, Kenny Totty and Elwyn Davies aŕe doing a charity Bike Ride to Holyhead and back raising funds just for us! They will be starting their journey early morning sat 4th June and plan to arrive at our finale on the funday by 3pm sunday 5th june. Philip Hett, Kenny Totty and Elwyn Davies aŕe doing a charity Bike Ride to Holyhead and back raising funds just for FDCS They will be starting their journey early morning Saturday 4th June and plan to arrive at a finale on the fun day by 3pm Sunday 5th June.

The event will culminate with three supporters (picture above) completing a 200-mile charity bike ride .

Flintshire deaf children’s society will also be presented with a cheque for £4700 from Ari Masterserve one of the largest car fleet companies in the world.

They started a charity foundation following nominations from members of their UK garage network, John Roberts Motor Services in Wrexham and Meister and John Roberts Motor Services in Colwyn Bay.

Flintshire Deaf Children’s Society offers support and resources to families with Deaf children in the loval area.

The society hold regular events for our families to raise awareness and provide information to the local community.

They also hold a monthly meeting on the second Monday of each month .
