Five men held after burglary at a Cheshire industrial estate

Five men from the Wolverhampton and Chester areas were arrested in Ince on Sunday night in connection with a suspected burglary at an industrial site on Pool Lane, Ince.

According to reports, local police, supported by a helicopter and police dogs, were called to the scene at around 6.20pm after receiving reports of suspicious activity.

Three of the men, aged 20, 28 and 39, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, while the other two men, aged 19 and 34, were arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal.

All five suspects are currently in police custody, assisting officers with their enquiries.

Police Constable Jess Small of the Western Area Investigation Team, stated: “Burglaries of all nature are not acceptable, and we are committed to doing all we can to ensure those responsible are held accountable for their actions.”

PC Small went on to commend the swift action taken by officers at the scene, leading to the arrests of the five suspects.
