The blaze has also affected local water supplies.
Hafren Dyfrdwy, the water company serving the area, announced that fire crews were using hydrants in the are, which could result in low water pressure or discoloured water for some residents.
A local traffic report confirmed the extent of disruption, stating: “A548 Sealand Road both ways closed due to fire services activity from Seahill Road (Saughall) to Western Avenue (Chester).”
