Man charged following two car crash in Flint

A 22-year-old man was arrested this morning, Monday, December 5th after failing the roadside drugs swipe test following a two car crash Flint.
The crash involving a Nissan Qashqai and Ford Kia happened just before 9.00am.
The man, who is local to the area, has been released on police bail pending the result of further tests, but he has been charged with disqualified driving, driving with no insurance and driving without due care and attention.
He has been remanded to appear before Mold Magistrates tomorrow morning, Tuesday, December 6th.

Firefighters from Deeside and Buckley were called to the crash, one person was cut free from a car.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman said:
“We were called at about 8.55am to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Prince of Wales Avenue in Flint.
We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene and an adult female was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in a stable condition.”
