Deeside Assembly Member backs campaign urging people to reach out to help loved ones with mental health problems.

Carl Sargeant is supporting Time to Change Wales’s Reach Out campaign, which features well-loved media figures Matt Johnson and Hywel Gwynfryn.

The campaign aims to demonstrate how small things can make a big difference to people’s mental health, wellbeing and recovery.

[miptheme_quote author=”Carl Sargeant Alyn and Deeside AM.” style=”text-left”] Mental health problems will affect one in four people during their lifetime, so it stands to reason that some of your friends, family members or colleagues are living with mental health issues,

For someone going through depression, a friend picking up the phone or a colleague asking how they feel can make all the difference in helping them stay on track and combating feelings of isolation.

Things that are not hard to do can make a huge, positive difference to others. I’m proud to Reach Out and would urge others to Reach Out too.[/miptheme_quote]
