Cyclist seriously injured in Hawarden collision

A cyclist has sustained serious injuries following a road traffic collision in Hawarden.

The incident occurred at 6.26pm on Friday, 14 March, at the junction of Duckers Lane and Moor Lane. It involved a cyclist and a Ford Transit van.

The rider was taken to Stoke Hospital with serious injuries.

Sergeant Alun Jones of North Wales Police has urged witnesses to come forward.

He said: “We are urging anybody who may have been travelling in the area of Duckers Lane and Moor Lane around the time of the collision, and who may have witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage that could assist with our investigation, to contact us as soon as possible.”
