Countdown is on for Connah's Quay Christmas Tree Lights Switch On

Counting down to the switching on of Connah’s Quay Christmas Tree lights.

The event kicks off at 4pm on 27th November and finishes at 8pm, unfortunatly the Town Council haven’t put on the time in which the lights will be switched on, we’ll go for 6pm, though its subject to change (we will find out)

It’s nearly that time of year again, when Connah’s Quay Christmas Tree is put up and decorated in all its Christmas glory.

The Chair of the Town Council Cllr Peter Tinman will be in attendance and supervise the tree lights switch on.

He said:

‘I am really pleased to be attending on 27 November to celebrate the festive season with a great indoor event at the Civic Hall. I hope the Christmas Fayre will bring a warm glow for the community and lots of smiling faces in anticipation of the festive season. I understand there will be a special guest in attendance for the children!’

The Town Council say they expecting a busy night with church choirs, Deeside Silver Band, Radio Deeside, dance school, school choirs from Bryn Deva and Connah’s Quay High school, Santa’s grotto, many stalls, mince pies, mulled wine and lots of festive cheer.
