A popular California-style Mexican restaurant chain is set to open a restaurant at Cheshire Oaks on Friday.

Tortilla, the UK’s largest fast-casual Mexican restaurant brand, will open the doors of its 48th restaurant, located in Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, on Friday 1st April, with a free lunch for locals.

Celebrating the launch in true fiesta style, customers can register at www.tortilla.co.uk/cheshire-oaks and pop down to the new restaurant between 12-2pm* for a tasty free lunch.

For customers unable to make it on Friday, the store will also be offering 2-for-1 on main meals when dining in from Monday 4th – 8th April** – the perfect excuse to catch-up with a friend for lunch or dinner.

The launch of Tortilla Cheshire Oaks brings with it the brand’s “customisable and authentic” California-style menu, with dishes to suit all tastes and dietary requirements.

The new store will be led by General Manager Chloe Merchant and has created 30 jobs for local people across front-of-house, kitchen, and management roles.

Jason Thomas, Chief Operations Officer of Tortilla, said:“We can’t wait to introduce our brand to Cheshire Oaks with our grand opening this Friday.”

“We have a fantastic location in the outlet which will provide locals and visitors to the centre with a convenient and delicious spot for lunch or dinner after a spot of shopping.”

“We look forward to welcoming plenty of happy customers in store and playing our part in this thriving community.”

What do they serve?

Customers at Tortilla can build their own meal with a choice of fillings such as Mexican rice, black beans, grilled seasonal veggies and fresh mild, medium and hot salsas, including their fresh, hand-smashed guacamole.

Its choice of protein—served in tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas and atop nachos queso —includes slow-cooked Barbacoa with grass-fed British Isle brisket, grilled chicken or succulent pulled carnitas pork.

Approved by the Vegetarian & Vegan Society, Tortilla also serves an organic tempeh Chilli No Carne or a choice of grilled seasonal veggies.

Tortilla says all toppings are prepared fresh on-site each morning and every dish is made to order.
