Update: Traffic Wales has said the A55 is back open at Ewloe following an earlier serious collision.

Earlier report: Traffic Wales has warned drivers to find alternative routes following a serious collision.

They report the incident has taken place on the westbound side of the A55 at Ewloe.

In a post on X/Twitter, Traffic Wales said: “The #A55 at Ewloe has now been closed following a serious collision. The #A494 will also be closed.”
