Volunteer coastguard teams assist with medical emergency in Flint

Volunteer coastguard teams from Flint and Rhyl were called to assist with an incident on the coastal path on Tuesday evening.(August,30)
The teams were scrambled just after 6pm to reports of a medical emergency on a section of the path in Flint.
The teams assisted the casualty and stretchered them to a waiting ambulance.
A Flint Coastguard spokesperson said; “Ourselves and Rhyl Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked this evening to assist Welsh Ambulance Service with a medical emergency along the coastal path in Flint.”
“On scene, we assisted in casualty care and stretchered the person from the path back to the main road to an awaiting ambulance.”
Today’s call out was the 71st of the year for the Flint based team.
